How SproutMemo handles your data

Introduction

This policy explains how SproutMemo handles information when you use the service.

Information we collect

Growth records, including dates, sex, optional nickname and measurements, stay in your browser. They are not sent to our servers. No account is currently required. Ordinary hosting requests may involve connection information such as IP addresses processed by Cloudflare.

How we use information

Records are used locally to calculate percentiles, display growth curves and produce reports. Language preferences are stored in a cookie. Optional aggregate statistics are disabled by default; when enabled, only the action and interface language are sent. Daily counts are retained for up to 180 days, without child data or individual event records.

Data security

You control records in your browser. Clearing site data, private browsing or losing the device may cause data loss. Download backups regularly. Backup files and printed or saved reports contain personal data; keep them private. Backup files are readable and unencrypted. Restoring replaces all records in the destination browser.

Third-party services

The site uses Cloudflare hosting. Hosting connection metadata, logs and tracing are separate from application aggregate statistics. Growth data are not shared with these services by the application.

Changes to this policy

Changes will be published on this page. Account-based sync is planned; any future account or cloud storage feature will be described here before it becomes available.
